Play Therapy - Children and Teens
It is natural to worry as a parent when your child seems sad, rebellious, disruptive or appear to be experiencing hardship to cope. These feelings can lead to disruption in the child’s life, and this is where specialised help can be beneficial. Play therapy help young people to untangle their muddled emotions by using play as play has been found to be the means of expression that comes naturally to them. See BAPT (British Association of Play Therapists) website for more information.

Play Therapy - Adults
Interestingly, current research studies are showing that play therapy can be effective for adults as well rather than solely for children as was previously thought of. This is so because many of the internal issues that people deal with in adulthood stem from/are defined by the experiences they had in childhood. Also, many adults have found that they prefer the non- verbal element that play therapy can offer rather than traditional talking therapy that can sometimes be taxing for some people who are still figuring out their emotions. Feel free to book a session if interested in adult play therapy as well.

Individualised Teaching
Every child is different, with different learning style and different learning pace. With the help of an individual tutor, your child will work at a pace that feels comfortable to him, with teaching resources that will be adapted to his learning style.
Call on 5 845-1699 if interested in individualised teaching for your children.

Filial Therapy
Filial therapy a type of play therapy where parents or caregivers get involved in the therapy sessions. The idea is to help improve the relationship between the child and their caregiver teaching them how to better understand the child's needs and emotions. It can be especially helpful for parents/caregivers who are struggling to manage their children’s emotions as they go through a hard time or displaying behavioural issues.
Filial therapy is conveyed in groups, along with other parents going through the same struggles and delivered weekly for 10 sessions. These are therefore held at different points of time during the year. Convey your interest in being part of a group filial therapy sessions by clicking here and we will get in touch with you as soon as a start date have been fixed.
